Power, precision, poise. Three words that might well define Alfa Romeo's gorgeous 156. The truth is, however, that Alfa never really exploited the 156's full potential, instead leaving the accolade of a flagship performance car to their equally impressive GTV V6.
This was all soon to change with the launch of Autodelta's J11.
|
 |
The erstwhile northwest London based Alfa specialists, celebrating their 11th year (thus J11),
are making the best of the V6 which produces a mighty impressive 225BHP. |
| This catapults the svelte sports saloon to 60 mph in under 5.8 seconds and on to a top speed of 154mph. |
Fine-tuning of the gearbox has helped to achieve this, and the development of the electronic suspension provides drivers with the choice of three settings at a flick of a switch. |
 |
It doesn't stop there. Autodelta have also looked at enhancing the 156's already jaw-dropping beauty, and created an aerodynamic body styling kit that accentuates its lines and new-found attitude. |
| The car now sits on 18 inch alloys, and Brembo brakes have been added to cope with the increase in power. |
